Energy Pouches

See the full energy pouches page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01What's the minimum order quantity for pouches?

Options start at 5,000 cans per SKU for our white label energy formula. Everything else is custom development and runs from 10,000 cans per SKU. That's enough to launch a real product, test the market, and reorder on the same line as you grow. Volume can flex across as many SKUs as your roadmap calls for, and we'll confirm the run that fits your brief. We want to build your brand with you, not wait until it's big.

Q02How long from first call to first shipment?

5-10 weeks* from deposit to first shipment, depending on how much of the formulation is new. First samples in 2-3 weeks*. Timelines are dependent on sample approval, deposit received, artwork submitted, and confirmed ingredients in stock. We move fast without cutting corners.

Q03What caffeine sources do you work with?

Natural caffeine from green coffee bean extract and guarana. Synthetic anhydrous for precision dosing. Slow-release encapsulated for sustained curves. We pick the right one based on your positioning, not ours.

Q04Can you help with branding and packaging?

Yes. We work with a network of trusted design partners — branding, can design, label systems, secondary packaging, retail-ready merchandising. Already have a creative team? We slot them in instead. Either way, you get a designer who knows pouches.

Q05What regulatory support do you provide?

We work alongside your team on labels and claims as they take shape, in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility, and flag state-level requirements as they come up. Final regulatory sign-off runs through your counsel.

Q06Is your facility certified?

Yes. Our Dallas facility is FDA-registered and GMP certified by Carat Global Assurance (CGA) to the CGA GMP Standard for Dietary Supplements (21 CFR Part 111 / Part 117). NSF and SQF certifications are in progress.

02

Hydration Pouches

See the full hydration pouches page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01How are hydration pouches different from electrolyte powders?

A hydration pouch sits under the lip and delivers electrolytes through the buccal pocket, with no water needed, no mixing, and no carrying powders. Absorption starts in the mouth instead of waiting on digestion, in a format that fits in a pocket. Read more on why oral pouches work at /guides/why-oral-pouches.

Q02What's your MOQ for hydration pouches?

Options start at 5,000 cans per SKU for our white label energy formula. Everything else is custom development and runs from 10,000 cans per SKU. That's enough to launch a real product, test the market, and reorder on the same line as you grow. Volume can flex across as many SKUs as your roadmap calls for, and we'll confirm the run that fits your brief. We want to build your brand with you, not wait until it's big.

Q03Can you match specific electrolyte ratios?

Yes. We formulate to exact sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium ratios, whether you're hitting a specific physiological target or building proprietary positioning.

Q04Do you handle regulatory and labeling for supplements?

We coordinate it with you. Labels and claims are reviewed alongside your team before anything prints, and state-level requirements are flagged as they come up. Final sign-off runs through your counsel.

Q05Is your facility certified?

Yes. Our Dallas facility is FDA-registered and GMP certified by Carat Global Assurance (CGA) to the CGA GMP Standard for Dietary Supplements (21 CFR Part 111 / Part 117). NSF and SQF certifications are in progress.

03

Functional Pouches

See the full functional pouches page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01Which functional ingredients can you formulate with?

Anything we can put in a pouch: standardized botanical extracts, vitamins, amino acids, adaptogens, nootropics, and emerging actives with established safety profiles. We source what your brief calls for and every new active is third-party tested when it arrives. Some ingredients are restricted by jurisdiction, and we flag these during intake.

Q02What dosing is realistic in a pouch?

Dosing depends entirely on the active, the format, and the positioning. We've worked across the full range, from low-milligram precision dosing to high-dose stacks. Let's get on a call and we'll size the formulation to your spec.

Q03Do you make vegan or organic certified pouches?

Vegan formulations are straightforward. Organic involves certified ingredient sourcing and pathway-specific decisions on what claims your finished product carries. We can support most positioning angles brands bring to us.

Q04What's your MOQ?

Options start at 5,000 cans per SKU for our white label energy formula. Everything else is custom development and runs from 10,000 cans per SKU. That's enough to launch a real product, test the market, and reorder on the same line as you grow. Volume can flex across as many SKUs as your roadmap calls for, and we'll confirm the run that fits your brief. We want to build your brand with you, not wait until it's big.

04

Sleep Pouches

See the full sleep pouches page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01What sleep actives can you formulate with?

Melatonin, magnesium glycinate, and L-theanine are our most requested sleep and calm actives, plus most other standardized botanical extracts, vitamins, and amino acids with established safety profiles. Some ingredients are restricted by jurisdiction, and we flag these during intake.

Q02How much melatonin goes in a pouch?

Industry-typical melatonin doses run 0.5mg to 5mg per serving, with the market trending toward the low end as sleep brands compete on precision rather than maximum milligrams. We'll size the exact dose to your brief on a call.

Q03What claims can a sleep pouch make?

Structure/function claims within FDA dietary supplement rules, such as "supports restful sleep" or "promotes relaxation." Insomnia-treatment and other disease claims are not permitted. We review label language with you before production; final sign-off runs through your counsel.

05

Electrolyte Pouches

See the full electrolyte pouches page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01How precise is the mineral dosing?

Each pouch is formulated to your stated sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium targets, with per-active dosing from 0.5mg to 300mg. If your positioning depends on a specific ratio, that ratio is the spec we manufacture and verify against.

Q02Are your electrolyte pouches sugar-free?

Ours are, unless you decide otherwise. We default to zero-sugar systems sweetened with stevia or monk fruit, and can run full-sugar or reduced-sugar formulations where a brief calls for them.

Q03How does a pouch compare to an electrolyte drink mix?

A drink mix needs water, a container, and a pause. A pouch needs a pocket. Minerals begin absorbing through the oral mucosa and continue through saliva, with no mixing, no measuring, and nothing to wash. Each pouch is dosed to a deliberate target instead of copying a scoop.

Q04What mineral sources can you work with?

Coconut water, sea salt, and a range of conventional mineral salts. If your brief calls for a source we do not already carry, we source it and have it third-party tested before it goes anywhere near a pouch.

Q05Do you handle supplement compliance for electrolyte products?

Yes, alongside you. Electrolyte pouches are marketed as dietary supplements. We build the Supplement Facts panel with you and review label language before production in our FDA-registered Dallas facility. Final sign-off runs through your counsel.

Q06How long does an electrolyte launch take?

First samples in 2-3 weeks*. Electrolyte pouches are custom development, so plan on 5-10 weeks* from deposit to first shipment. Batches scale from 5,000 to 2 million cans in our 53,000+ sq ft cGMP facility.

06

Caffeine Pouches

See the full caffeine pouches page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01How much caffeine can a pouch hold?

Anywhere up to 200mg of caffeine per pouch, at whatever strength your brief calls for: 20mg, 50mg, 100mg, 150mg, 200mg, or anything in between. Our white label energy formula runs 100mg caffeine with 50mg L-theanine and 25mg taurine. We help you pick a strength ladder that covers new users and heavy users without splitting your line into too many SKUs.

Q02Should we use natural or synthetic caffeine?

Natural sources like green coffee bean extract and guarana support clean-label positioning and read well on the panel. Anhydrous caffeine gives the tightest dose control at the best cost. Many briefs end up combining them. We recommend based on your brand story, your price point, and your target consumer.

Q03What is the difference between a caffeine pouch and an energy pouch?

Energy pouches usually stack caffeine with taurine, B-vitamins, and other actives. A caffeine pouch keeps the formulation tight: caffeine, flavor, and little else. If you want the broader stack, our energy pouch platform covers it, and both run on the same production line.

Q04How is caffeine pouch labeling regulated?

Caffeine pouches are marketed as dietary supplements in the US. That means supplement facts panels, clear caffeine disclosure, serving guidance, and structure/function claims that stay inside the lines. We review labels with you before production in our FDA-registered facility, with NSF and SQF certifications in progress. Final sign-off runs through your counsel.

Q05How fast can we get to market?

First samples in 2-3 weeks*. Concept to shelf runs 5-10 weeks* from deposit to first shipment, with our white label energy formula at the fast end and fully custom caffeine work at the longer end. Timelines depend on sample approval, artwork submitted, and confirmed ingredients in stock.

Q06What batch sizes do you run?

Production scales from 5,000 cans to 2 million cans per batch in our 53,000+ sq ft cGMP facility in Dallas, so a first run and a national retail order come off the same line with the same documentation.

07

Nootropic Pouches

See the full nootropic pouches page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01Which nootropics work in a pouch format?

Lion's mane, ashwagandha, L-theanine, alpha-GPC, bacopa, rhodiola, and any other standardized extract with an established safety profile that we can put in a pouch. We source to your brief and third-party test every new active on arrival. Some actives are restricted by jurisdiction; we flag those during intake and propose alternatives where they exist.

Q02What doses can you deliver per pouch?

Per-active dosing runs from 0.5mg to 300mg. Where a brief calls for more than one active, we architect the stack so every ingredient stays at a meaningful, labelable dose instead of listing trace amounts.

Q03Can you combine caffeine with nootropics?

Yes. Caffeine at any strength up to 200mg pairs with L-theanine and other actives for a smoother curve. Stimulant-free stacks are just as common; the formulation follows your positioning.

Q04How do you verify ingredient identity and potency?

Every new active is third-party tested when we purchase it, and every finished flavor powder is third-party tested before it is packed. Nothing is tested in house. cGMP manufacturing in our FDA-registered Dallas facility, with NSF and SQF certifications in progress. Documentation ships with the product.

Q05What claims can a nootropic pouch make?

Structure/function claims within FDA dietary supplement rules. We review label language with you before production; final sign-off runs through your counsel.

Q06How fast can we sample a nootropic formulation?

First samples in 2-3 weeks*. Nootropic stacks are custom development, so plan on 5-10 weeks* from deposit to first shipment. Timelines depend on sample approval, artwork, and confirmed ingredients in stock.

08

White Label

See the full white label page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01What exactly is a white label pouch?

Our finished, market-proven energy formula, 100mg caffeine, 50mg L-theanine, and 25mg taurine, sold under your brand. You own the brand, the label, and the customer. We own the recipe and the production. It is the fastest and lowest-risk way to enter the pouch category, and the only formula on the site that is not built from scratch.

Q02How fast can I launch?

The fast end of our 5-10 week* range from deposit to first shipment. Stability testing on the formula is already complete, so the gating items are on your side of the table: artwork submitted, samples approved, deposit received. Once those clear, we run.

Q03Can I tweak the formulation?

Flavor selection stays inside white label. The moment you want the recipe changed, actives swapped, doses moved, sweetener systems changed, it becomes a custom formulation with its own R&D cycle and a 10,000-can minimum. We will tell you which side of the line your brief lands on.

Q04What do I need to bring?

A brand and a sales channel. If you have label artwork, we plug it in. If you do not, we connect you with design partners who know pouches. Production, third-party testing, and packaging are handled on our side.

Q05What's the minimum order quantity?

White label runs start at 5,000 cans per SKU. That's enough to launch a real product, test the market, and reorder on the same line as you grow. Volume can flex across as many SKUs as your roadmap calls for, and we'll confirm the run that fits your brief. We want to build your brand with you, not wait until it's big.

09

Private Label

See the full private label page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01How is private label different from white label?

White label is our proven energy formula with your brand on the can. Private label at PouchMade is custom R&D: actives, strengths, flavor profile, and sweetener system all developed to your brief and manufactured under your brand. Every private label project goes through our custom R&D cycle.

Q02How much can I change before it becomes custom R&D?

Any change to the recipe is custom R&D. Flavor selection on the white label energy formula is the only thing that is not. Private label and custom R&D are the same lane at PouchMade: a formulation developed from scratch to your brief, from 10,000 cans per SKU.

Q03How long does a private label launch take?

5-10 weeks* from deposit to first shipment, with first samples in 2-3 weeks*. Timelines depend on sample approval, deposit received, artwork submitted, and confirmed ingredients in stock.

Q04What's the minimum order quantity?

Private label formulations are custom development and run from 10,000 cans per SKU. That's enough to launch a real product, test the market, and reorder on the same line as you grow. Volume can flex across as many SKUs as your roadmap calls for, and we'll confirm the run that fits your brief. If you want to launch faster and smaller, our white label energy formula starts at 5,000 cans.

10

Custom R&D

See the full custom r&d page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01What's the custom R&D process look like?

It starts with our intake form and a few emails, or a call if you prefer, to understand your concept, target consumer, and format requirements. From there we scope a formulation brief, agree on actives and flavor direction, and move into lab development. First samples typically arrive within 2-3 weeks*; the only thing that stretches that is sourcing a new active or sample.

Q02What's the minimum order for custom R&D?

Production runs start at 10,000 cans per SKU for fully custom formulations. The R&D program itself — formulation, sampling, and stability work — is scoped as a defined project before you commit to a run, and we structure phased commitments so a new formula can launch small and scale on the same line.

Q03Will you turn down briefs?

Sometimes. If a concept isn't viable, safe, or something we can execute to the standard it deserves, we'll tell you early. We'd rather lose a brief than ship something that damages your brand.

11

Contract Manufacturing

See the full contract manufacturing page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01Are you a pouch co-packer?

For oral pouches, yes: we manufacture and pack finished pouch products under your brand. But we are not a food-packaging co-packer. If you need stand-up pouches, sachets, or stick packs filled with an existing food or beverage product, that is a different industry. If you need the pouch itself, formulated, filled, canned, and compliant, you are in the right place.

Q02Why a pouch instead of a drink, gummy, or capsule?

A pouch sits under the lip, so actives start absorbing through the buccal pocket instead of waiting on digestion. For caffeine that means the effect arrives in minutes, not the better part of an hour an energy drink takes, with no water, no sugar load, and nothing to carry. The full explanation is at /guides/why-oral-pouches.

Q03What categories do you manufacture?

Energy, hydration, functional, sleep, and whatever comes next. Outside our white label energy formula, every product is custom R&D built around your brief.

Q04White label, private label, or custom: which do I need?

White label is our proven energy formula with your brand on it, fastest to shelf and from 5,000 cans. Private label and custom R&D are the same thing here: your own formula, built from scratch, from 10,000 cans. We will tell you which fits on the first exchange.

Q05Where are your products made?

In the USA, at our 53,000+ sq ft cGMP facility in Dallas, Texas. Formulation, manufacturing, and fulfillment under one roof.

Q06How fast can you move?

5-10 weeks* from deposit to first shipment, with first samples typically in 2-3 weeks*. Reorders run 5-7 weeks* once labels and testing are in motion. Timelines depend on sample approval, deposit received, artwork submitted, and confirmed ingredients in stock.

Q07What's the minimum order quantity?

Options start at 5,000 cans per SKU for our white label energy formula. Everything else is custom development and runs from 10,000 cans per SKU. That's enough to launch a real product, test the market, and reorder on the same line as you grow. Volume can flex across as many SKUs as your roadmap calls for, and we'll confirm the run that fits your brief. We want to build your brand with you, not wait until it's big.

12

Co-Packing

See the full co-packing page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01Do you co-pack food or beverage products into pouches?

No. We are not a flexible-packaging co-packer. We do not fill stand-up pouches, sachets, or stick packs with a food or beverage product you already make. We manufacture oral pouches: the small buccal pouches that sit under the lip and deliver actives like caffeine, electrolytes, and botanicals. The pouch is the product, and we formulate, fill, can, and ship it.

Q02What is oral pouch co-packing?

Oral pouch co-packing means a manufacturer produces finished pouch products under your brand: formulation, pouch filling, canning, labeling, and release testing handled on their line. It is the same service model as contract manufacturing, and at PouchMade both run through the same Dallas facility.

Q03Can we bring our own formulation?

Yes. We run customer formulations after our lab validates them for the buccal format, or we develop one from scratch around your brief. Either way you approve a physical sample before production, and every finished powder is third-party tested.

Q04What formats and can sizes do you run?

Every pouch runs at 0.5 to 0.7 g. Cans hold 15 pouches as standard, with a 20-pouch count available, and label finishes in matte, gloss, soft-touch, foil, and texture.

Q05What batch sizes can you handle?

From 5,000 cans to 2 million cans per batch. First runs and national retail orders come off the same line with the same batch records, third-party COAs, and retention samples.

Q06How fast can a co-packing project move?

First samples typically arrive in 2-3 weeks*. Concept to shelf runs 5-10 weeks*. Timelines depend on sample approval, artwork submitted, and confirmed ingredients in stock.

13

Made in USA

See the full made in usa page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01Where are PouchMade's pouches manufactured?

PouchMade's oral pouches are manufactured in the United States, at our 53,000+ sq ft facility at 750 Regal Row, Dallas, TX 75247. Formulation, cGMP manufacturing, and fulfillment all happen there, under one roof, with independent US labs doing the testing.

Q02Are you a US-based contract manufacturer?

Yes. PouchMade is a US-based oral pouch contract manufacturer and the manufacturing division of SC14 Ventures, Inc. Production runs entirely in Dallas, Texas, not offshore.

Q03Is the facility FDA-registered / cGMP?

Yes. Our Dallas facility is FDA-registered and operates under cGMP discipline (21 CFR Part 111), with batch records, retention samples, and third-party COAs on every run. NSF and SQF certification are in progress.

Q04Do you make nicotine pouches?

No. PouchMade manufactures non-nicotine oral pouches only, including caffeine, energy, electrolyte, hydration, and functional supplement pouches. We do not produce nicotine or tobacco pouches.

Q05Where are PouchMade products manufactured?

In Dallas, Texas, in our 53,000+ sq ft cGMP facility. Formulation, manufacturing, and fulfillment all happen there, under one roof, in the USA.

Q06Can my brand put "Made in USA" on the label?

It depends on your formulation, and we will not pretend otherwise. The FTC allows an unqualified "Made in USA" claim only when all or virtually all of a product is made in the United States, and that turns on where every significant ingredient comes from, not just where manufacturing happens. Because most pouch actives are sourced globally, the claim that usually fits is the qualified one: "Made in the USA with imported ingredients." We review origin claims with you as part of labeling compliance.

Q07Why does US manufacturing matter for a pouch brand?

Speed and control. Samples in 2-3 weeks* and concept to shelf in 5-10 weeks* are only possible when production is domestic. Reorders respond to your actual sales instead of a shipping calendar, quality issues get resolved on the line rather than by email across time zones, and your manufacturer is subject to US regulatory oversight.

Q08Are most pouch products made overseas?

A large share of the oral pouches sold in the US are manufactured abroad, even when the branding suggests otherwise. There is nothing inherently wrong with that model, but it puts an ocean, a customs process, and a foreign regulatory regime between your brand and its product. Domestic manufacturing removes all three.

Q09Where do your ingredients come from?

Sourcing is scoped per formulation; we buy the raw ingredients ourselves and have every new active third-party tested on arrival. Some ingredients are available domestically, others are global commodities with no US source, which is exactly why we treat origin claims carefully. Every ingredient lot is documented and traceable regardless of where it originates.

Q10How fast can a US-made pouch launch move?

First samples in 2-3 weeks*, and 5-10 weeks* from deposit to first shipment. Timelines depend on sample approval, artwork submitted, and confirmed ingredients in stock.

14

Certifications & Quality

See the full certifications & quality page for capabilities, use cases, and specs.

Q01Is PouchMade FDA approved?

The FDA does not approve dietary supplement manufacturers or dietary supplements, so any manufacturer claiming to be "FDA approved" is misstating how the system works. The accurate claim, and ours, is an FDA-registered facility that is GMP certified by Carat Global Assurance (CGA) for dietary supplements.

Q02Is your facility GMP certified?

Yes. Our Dallas, Texas facility holds GMP certificate CGA-1018-CH from Carat Global Assurance (CGA), scoped to dietary supplements and audited against the CGA GMP Standard for Dietary Supplements, 21 CFR Part 111, 21 CFR Part 117, and ISO/IEC 17065:2012. This is a third-party assessment, not a self-declared standard.

Q03What does cGMP mean in pouch manufacturing?

Current Good Manufacturing Practice, applied to dietary supplements under 21 CFR Part 111. In practice it means written procedures for every process, qualified equipment, controlled ingredients, in-process checks during the run, cleaning validated and recorded between runs, and a batch record documenting all of it. Our GMP certificate from Carat Global Assurance confirms these practices are audited, not just claimed.

Q04Are you NSF or SQF certified?

Not yet, and we will not claim it before it is true. Both certifications are in progress. Our GMP certification from Carat Global Assurance is already complete, and the quality systems NSF and SQF examine, traceability, testing, and documentation, are already in operation. This page will be updated when each certification completes.

Q05Can you provide COAs and batch records?

Yes. Batch records, third-party certificates of analysis, retention samples, and monitoring data are maintained on every run and are ready on request for diligence, audit, and retail buyer review.

Q06Do you test in house?

No, and that is deliberate. Every new active is sent to an independent lab when we purchase it, and every finished flavor powder goes out for third-party testing as required before it is packed. Raw ingredient sourcing and powder mixing happen in house; verification never does.

Q07What is shelf-life stability testing and do I need it?

A stability study holds finished product under controlled conditions and tests it over time so you can print an expiration date you can defend. It runs through an independent lab and typically takes about six months. Our white label energy formula already has it complete. A custom formula can launch on a manufactured-on date while the study runs and move to an expiration date once the data is in. Full write-up at /guides/shelf-life-stability-testing.

Q08Do you keep retention samples?

Yes. Retention samples are held from production batches as part of our cGMP program, so a physical reference exists for every lot if a question ever comes up after shipment.

Q09How does lot traceability work?

End-to-end. Ingredients are tracked from receipt through formulation, filling, canning, and shipment, so any can in the market traces back to its batch record, its testing, and its ingredient lots.
